25th edition of BTS:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi and France President Emmanuel Macron will officially feature in the upcoming the 25th edition of Bengaluru IT Summit, which is also Asia’s largest IT event on November 16th.

The Department of Electronics, IT, Business, and S&T, Government of Karnataka, and Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) are hosting the event, which will take place at Bangalore Palace from November 16 to 18.

Among those attending the Bengaluru Tech Summit are Omar Bin Sultan Al Olama, the UAE’s Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, the digital economy, and remote work applications; Tim Watts, Australia’s Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs; Petri Honkonen, Finland’s Minister of Science and Culture; and Martin Schroeter, Chairman & CEO of Kyndryl, the USA.

According to C N Ashwath Narayan, the minister for electronics, information technology, biotechnology, science, and technology for Karnataka, the goal is to scale up to the level of Davos, Switzerland, which hosts the World Economic Forum, in the coming years.

A multi-track Conference on IT & Electronics, Deep Tech, Start-Ups & Biotech, the Global Innovation Alliance, and the India USA Tech Conclave will make up BTS 2022 this year. A total of 70+ sessions with more than 350 subject matter experts from more than 20 countries will draw 5,000 business delegates.

While the Startup Track will concentrate on Digital Public Goods, FinTech, Robotics, Women in Tech, Capital beyond VCs, Social Entrepreneurship, and grassroots innovation, the Biotech Track will concentrate on Genomics, Biopharma, Gene Editing and Agriculture, One Health, Genomic Medicine, Bio Industrial, Bio Energy, Cell & Gene Therapy, and Big Data in Drug Discovery.

Other speakers at the Bengaluru Tech Summit 2022 Conference include Prof. Emmanuelle Charpentier, the 2020 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry, Prof. Ajay K. Sood, the Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India, Dr. Mohandas Pai, the Chairman of Aarin Capital, and S. Somanath, the Chairman of ISRO.

With more than 575 organizations participating, BTS2022 will also be home to India’s largest tech exhibition, bringing together the top R&D labs, IT nations, and Indian states.
