Satyaprem Ki Katha is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and will embark as a debut film for Sameer Vidwans in terms of direction. The movie will bring back the superhit bond of Kiara and Kartik after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film was earlier named Satyanarayan Ki Katha, which translates as the story of Satyanarayan who is considered as a God in Hindu mythology. So to avoid hurting the sentiments of the masses, the title was later changed.
