Ajit has made the decision to leave Meta in order to pursue another opportunity outside of the organization, according to Nicola Mendelsohn, Vice President, Global Business Group, Meta.

In January 2019, Ajit Mohan replaced the departing Umang Bedi as the managing director of Meta’s India business. Umang Bedi had left the company in October 2017. Prior to Meta, Mohan spent four years as the CEO of Star India’s (now Disney Star) Hotstar, a video streaming business.
