IAF Chief provides a timeline on when will India get the remaining Rafale jets

Indian Air force chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhary expressed his gratitude to France for timely deliveries of the Rafale fighter jets to India and also provided a timeline for dispatch of the rest of the twin engine multirole fighter aircrafts. 32 of the 36 promised Rafales have already been delivered and three of the pending four will be delivered by February next year and the remaining one will be delivered only after its all trials conclude.

French defence minister Florence Parly and his Indian counterpart Rajnath Singh discuss the regional security and cooperation indo-pacific. The ministers also reviewed the existing military to military cooperation which has increased in spite of the pandemic challenges. They also acknowledged their convergences on a number of strategic and defence issues and expressed commitment to work together to enhance cooperation in bilateral, regional and multilateral forums.
