The Income Tax department on Thursday conducted searches on the premises of Mankind Pharma following the allegation of tax evasion, as per the official sources.
The department is searching the company premises in Delhi and nearby locations, documents are being scrutinised and the people are being questioned.
The pharma giant made its debut on the stock exchanges on Tuesday after listing its IPO this year.

The company is engaged into business of developing, manufacturing and marketing of a diverse range of pharmaceutical formulations across various acute and chronic therapeutic areas, as well as several consumer healthcare products.
