Haryana Government to give Rs 2,750 per month to widowed and unmarried people- Read

The government of Haryana has introduced a new scheme wherein they will be providing a pension of Rs 2,750 to unmarried and widowed people between the age group of 45 and 60. The scheme is applicable to both female and male-specified populations.
The state government has an existing policy wherein they provide monthly pensions to people who have a low income and are above 60 years. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar announced on Thursday that the government will be offering a pension of Rs 2,750 per month to unmarried men and women in the age between 45-50 and also who have an annual income of Rs 1.80 lakhs.
In addition to that, widowed people who fall into the age category of 40-60 and have an annual income of less than Rs 3 lakh will also get a pension of Rs 2,750. The CM also announced said that there are a total of 65,000 unmarried men and women and 5,687 widowers in the state that come under the required age and income category.

He said that the people who have less income will be able to live a respectable life and that is what their government has done in helping them. Minister Khattar even said that a huge campaign was being ruled by the urban bodies and town planning departments in the country for the purpose of regularizing the irregular colonies across the state.
