Elon Musk do not allow anyone to join Tesla without his approval: Reports

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has said that the company cannot make new hires unless, it is personally approved by him, which includes contractors, according to an email seen by Reuters.

The news agency have revealed that Musk has asked his executives to send him requests for new appointments weekly basis. He also cautioned them to think carefully before making any such requests.

As per the reports, Musk in his email, on Monday, stated, “No one can join Tesla, even as a contractor, until you receive my email approval.”

The company registered its lowest quarterly growth last month, as it aggressively slashed its price in USA and China markets to spur demand and fend off rising competition.

A request for comment was made by Reuters, but Tesla did not respond to it.

The billionaire is expected to address the automaker’s shareholders on Tuesday in their annual meeting at its headquarters in Austin, Texas.

In recent updates, Musk has appointed former NBCUniversal chief, Linda Yaccaroni, as Twitter’s CEO. Until now, Musk himself was acting as a CEO post his buy-out of social media platform for $44 billion.
