Earthquake with a 4.1 magnitude hits Himachal Pradesh

Earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 jolted areas of Himachal Pradesh.


The National Centre for Seismology reported that on Wednesday, an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 jolted areas of Himachal Pradesh.
The earthquake’s epicentre was 27 km to the north-northwest of Mandi in the hill state, and it occurred at 9:32 p.m. Mandi, Kangra, and adjacent areas experienced tremors.

According to officials, no fatalities or property damage have been reported as of yet. Mild earthquake shocks were felt in Delhi-NCR last week. The nearby cities of Noida, Ghaziabad, and Gurgaon all experienced tremors. High-rise cities felt the vibrations the greatest.

Prior to the early hours of November 9 when a second earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 hit Nepal. Strong tremors were felt in the Delhi-NCR area around 1:57 am, with the epicentre in Nepal. After the tremors subsided, a lot of Delhi residents tweeted about their experiences. Many people were awakened from their sleep as a result of the 2:00 am tremors felt throughout Delhi.


According to reports, parts of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh felt the effects of the Nepal earthquake.
