Bajaj family buys 5 lavish apartments in Mumbai worth ₹104 crore: Report

According to a report on December 17, members of the family that owns the Bajaj Group conglomerate have purchased five lavish Mumbai apartments totaling about Rs 104 crore. The five apartments, which are all located in Tower E of Raheja Vivarea’s luxurious residential development in south Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi neighbourhood, all have views of the famous Arabian Sea.

According to a report in The Economic Times, two of the five apartments were purchased through the Nirvaan Family Trust, and Shefali Bajaj, Sanjali Bajaj, and Manish Kejriwal each purchased one. According to reports, Shefali, the wife of Bajaj Finserv MD Sanjiv Bajaj, paid Rs 28.31 crore for the most expensive apartment. The 3,400 square foot apartment is on the 39th floor of the structure. Reportedly, Sanjali, their daughter, paid Rs 28.27 crore for an apartment of a comparable size on the 38th floor.

The newspaper reported that Kejriwal, who is Bajaj’s son-in-law, had bought a 2,433 square foot apartment on the 36th floor for Rs 15.47 crore. The Nirvaan Family Trust has acquired two additional apartments of comparable size, each valued at Rs 15.84 crore, according to the report.
