Adipurush day 1 box office collection breaks record of Brahmastra, earns a total revenue of Rs 150 crore

Adipurush film made its grand release to the theatres on the 16th of June. The movie has achieved a massive opening on its first day of screening and it has surely created a fantastic appearance on the minds of the audiences. It has also broke records of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Bharmastra, while it has still not reached the benchmark set by Pathan.

Despite the mixed reviews attained from the masses, the film made a collection of Rs. 36-38 crores, while released in the Hindi language and nation-wise revenue of Rs. 90 crores, when dubbed in other languages throughout the country. It also became the third Indian film that attained the highest opening after Pathan and KGF.

The cast portrays Prabhas am Rama, Kriti Sanon as Janaki and Saif Ali Khan as Ravana in key roles and is directed by Om Raut. The film depicts the classic story of Ramayana with the help of modern technologies and showcases phenomenal graphics which adds a next-level thrill to the movie.

The worldwide collection of the film is yet to be known, but it is assumed that the classic story will earn up to 140 crores overseas. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh also made a tweet relating to the great success of the film on the first day.
