Accenture reports 22% surge in revenue at $16.6 billion in Q3

The earnings per share (EPS) was recorded at $2.79 representing an increase of 16% from the same quarter the previous year

On Thursday, June 23, the IT giant Accenture reported its financial results for the third quarter ended on May 31, 2022. The company recorded a rise of 22% in revenue at $16.6 billion in Q3.

Net income for the third quarter is at $1.82 billion indicating a rise of 16% from $1.57 billion in the same quarter the previous year. Operating income for the quarter surged by 23% to $2.60 billion.

“Our very strong financial results for the third quarter reflect continued broad-based demand across markets, services, and industries, and the continued recognition of the outstanding talent of our 710,000 people. We continue to gain significant market share, and our services have never been more relevant as our clients turn to us as the trusted partner for the solutions they need to accelerate growth and become more resilient and efficient,” said CEO Julie Sweet.

The earnings per share (EPS) was recorded at $2.79 representing an increase of 16% from the same quarter the previous year. The gross margin for the Q3FY22 was 32.9% compared with 33.2% in Q3FY21. Accenture shares fell 2.8% in a pre-opening trading session at the NYSE.
