In the Maharashtra Gram Panchayat Election results 2022, the alliance between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Eknath Shinde faction of the Shiv Sena has surpassed rival MVA, which is made up of the NCP, Congress, and Uddhav Thackeray faction of the Shiv Sena.
To elect the Sarpanch and Panchayat members, voting took place on Sunday in 51 talukas across 17 districts. Nandurbar, Dhule, Jalgaon, Buldhana, Akola, Washim, Amravati, Yavatmal, Nanded, Hingoli, Parbhani, Nashik, Pune, Ahmednagar, Latur, Satara, and Kolhapur are the 17 districts where the Gram Panchayat elections were held.
In the meantime, Maharashtra will hold elections for 1,166 Gram Panchayat on October 13. There are 18 districts in which there are 1,166 Gram Panchayats. Elections will be held to choose the Sarpanch and members of the Gram Panchayat.
On October 13, voting will take place in every community that is participating from 7:30 am to 5:50 pm. The polls in Maoist-affected areas will close at 3 PM. On October 14, the votes will be tallied.
