Mahindra & Mahindra feature in list of top 25 global auto manufactures list after Tata Motors

Indian automobile manufacturer Mahindra and Mahindra has grabbed a spot on the list of top 25 automobile companies with net annual profit of Rs 10,282 crore for the financial year ending in March 2022. It has been declared by the company that this is highest they have ever made in terms of profit in a fiscal year. The company currently sits in between Yamaha Motor Company and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, according to Bloomberg data.
From Rs 6,577 crore in FY22, the profits for the company have jumped by 56 per cent. The company has announced a whopping 365 per cent dividend per equity share for its shareholders on Friday which translates to Rs 16.25 per share bearing a face value of Rs 5 each. The company said that the dividend will be paid/dispatched after August 4 to shareholders whose names appear as beneficial owners as at the end of the business hours on July 14.
Speaking of the list of top global automobiles, it has been dominated by Japan as the list has six companies from the nation. It is followed by China and Germany, with both have four car companies each in the list.
