Deposits at HDFC Bank increased by 19% and advances by 21.5% in Q1

Advances at HDFC Bank increased by 21.5 percent in the June quarter to reach 13.99 lakh crore.

An update on HDFC Bank’s operational performance for the three months ended June 30, 2022, has been released. The lender recorded a 21.5 percent development in advances in the June quarter to reach ₹13.9 lakh crore as opposed to ₹11.48 lakh crore (YoY), and a growth of about 1.9 percent over ₹13.6 lakh crore as of March 31, 2022, according to the exchange filing.

As of June 30, 2022, the bank’s deposits were around ₹16.05 lakh crore, an increase of about 19.3 percent over ₹13.45 lakh crore as of June 30, 2021, and an increase of about 2.9 percent over ₹15.59 lakh crore as of March 31, 2022.
