“You have to take permission before you can use my imagery for publicity,” actress Anushka Sharma slams PUMA

Actress Anushka Sharma reacted with anger after a sportswear company posted a picture of her on Instagram without asking for permission. She also requested that the brand delete the post. On Friday, the company announced their season sale by posting images of Anushka in various outfits on Instagram.

Anushka wrote alongside the post, “Hey, @pumaindia? I’m sure you know that you have to take permission before you can use my imagery for publicity since I’m not your ambassador. Please take it down! (angry face emojis).”

Her husband and cricketer Virat Kohli is a well-known ambassador for the sportswear brand and incidentally liked the original post on the brand’s page. PUMA is yet to remove the picture from it’s accounts.
