Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is a horror film that will scar your memories of the cute bear

Strange things can begin to happen when cherished characters slip into the public space, and the forthcoming horror film Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey sure is a demonstration of that.
The forthcoming horror film – which is obviously not related to Disney in any way whatsoever -turns the anthropomorphic yellow teddy bear into a monstrous killer. How could this be even permitted, you inquire? Indeed, the story entered the public area toward the beginning of this current year, and that means anyone and everyone is now free to do with Pooh as they please.
Rhys Frake-Waterfield directed Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, Dread Central discovered this week, and a couple of first-look pictures suggest a dark and twisted vision.

No plot details are available right now, yet it seems to be the film centers on a killer wearing a Winnie the Pooh mask. Or on the other hand perhaps that is really a man-bear hybrid. A twisted version of Piglet also shows up in these first look pictures, so expect a full-on perversion of the classic story. This one comes courtesy of Jagged Edge Productions, releasing sometime later this year.
Amber Doig-Thorne, Maria Taylor, and Danielle Scott feature in the horror film.
