KK’s music and memories live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and fans even though he is no longer with us. The artist died of a heart attack last month in Kolkata after singing in a live performance. He allegedly became ill following his performance at Kolkata’s Nazrul Mancha. He was transported to a private hospital, where he was confirmed dead, according to reports. His wife, daughter, and son survive him. On Father’s Day, KK’s daughter sent a heartfelt message on her Instagram account, along with some flashback photos.
We see a younger KK beaming and cradling both of his adorable tiny cuties on his back in the first photo. Then there’s a collection of antique photos that will undoubtedly make you cry. Taamara commented, “I would take the pain of losing you a 100 times, if it meant having you as my dad even for one second. Life is dark without you dad. You were the cutest most loving dad, who’d come home after a gig and wait to come lie down and give us cuddles. Me, Nakul and mumma are gonna work everyday to make you proud, and spread your energy, and we’re gonna be strong and take care of each other like you did. Happy Father’s Day to the bestestest dad in the whole universe Love you forever miss you everyday, umma, I know you’re here with us.”
KK’s most recent release was Yeh Hausla from Ranveer Singh’s 83, and he has a series of unreleased songs due out in 2023. His most recent musical endeavor is rumored to be the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif movie Tiger 3, which will be released on Eid 2023 and directed by Maneesh Sharma.
