Akshay Kumar responds to R Madhavan’s statement on celebrities completing movies in months

Akshay Kumar replied to R Madhavan’s statement that fantastic movies take years to make and don’t come together quickly.

Akshay Kumar reacted to R Madhavan’s remark that it takes one to two years, rather than only a few months, to produce a good movie. Akshay recently discussed what he may do if his movie ends quickly during a press conference for the song debut of his next flick Raksha Bandhan. He also questioned if he should fight the director over the film being wrapped up too soon. R Madhavan recently discussed movies like Pushpa: The Rise and KGF: Chapter 2 that took over a year to shoot while promoting Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. He said that performers devote themselves to their roles and that movies are created over the course of years rather than simply three or four months.

Akshay stated earlier this year that he ‘can’t work in a film that requires more than 100 days of shoot’. When asked to address Madhavan’s remark during the press conference, Akshay responded,  “Kya kehna chahunga? Bhai meri filmein khatam ho jaati hain main kya karoon? Main is mien thode hi kuch…meri filmein khatam ho jaati hain. Ek director aata hai kehta hai bhaiya aapka kaam khatam aap ghar jaaiye. Toh ab main ussey ladoon?”
