Deepika Padukone became the first Indian to reveal the FIFA trophy, making India proud once more. The FIFA World Cup trophy was escorted by the superstar and chief international representative of India as it was unveiled at the Lusail Stadium in a specially ordered truck.
Deepika Padukone entered the arena with FIFA legend and former Spanish professional footballer Iker Casillas Fernandez, the trophy unveiling, which weighs 6.175 kg and is made of 18-carat gold and malachite, which became a momentous occasion for India.
After the scores were tied 3-3 in extra time, Argentina defeated France 4-2 on penalties, giving Lionel Messi his first FIFA World Cup victory and a stunning victory to his international football career. Messi scored two goals and Kylian Mbappe three for France. Argentina only had one additional scorer, Angel di Maria.
